Ford is being forced to recall certain locally made vehicles that could have a default. The vehicles being recalled could experience fractured rear suspension to links that could make the likelihood of an accident much higher. The recall is for select Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedans and Ford Taurus SHO vehicles that were made in the Chicago Assembly Plant in Hegewisch. Only vehicles made between 2013 and 2018 are expected to be recalled. The recall will affect around 211,000 vehicles in North America, 15,000 in Canada and about 1,400 in Mexico.

Dodge unveiled three new colors for the Dodge Challenger in Chicago. The new colors that were shown to the public include Frostbite, Sinamon Stick and Gold Rush. This was for the 50th anniversary for the vehicle. Gold Rush is the only color that will be exclusive to the 2020 50th Anniversary Challenger package. All of the other colors will be available with other packages.

Ford recalls vehicles

Ford is recalling two locally made vehicles prone to experiencing fractured rear suspension toe links that could increase the risk of a crash.

The Dearborn, Michigan-based automaker is recalling select 2013-18 Ford Taurus Police Interceptor Sedan and Ford Taurus SHO vehicles that were made at the Chicago Assembly Plant in Hegewisch, just across the state line from Hammond, between 2011 and 2017. Learn more

Dodge Shows Off New Challenger Colors in Chicago

Back in September 2019, the first details for the 2020 Dodge Challenger lineup were introduced, including the color palate for the new model year. After Dodge offered a total of 15 colors for the 2019 Challenger, that number was reduced to 12 colors for 2020 (based on the preliminary information) and 3 of those colors were new.

Those initial new colors included Frostbite, Hellraisin and Sinamon Stick, but with the introduction of the 50th Anniversary Edition Challenger, Gold Rush was also added to the mix. See more
